You should really check your SIM Registration Status sometime,
as you never can be
sure of it until you check.
Recently,
blocked across
the four major networks on the grounds
that they were not properly registered.
Honestly speaking,
it could be you,
especially
if you aren’t sure if the SIM card
with you is registered or not.
Some of the network providers are kind
enough to direct unregistered SIMs
to undergo a fresh SIM registration.
The point I’m trying to make with
this post is that you could check
if the SIM you use is registered or not.
It’s super easy to check it,
and I’ll be highlighting
the steps for each network.
For MTN users
If the SIM in question is an MTN SIM,
just dial 7891#,
and you immediately
get the registration status of the SIM.
For Airtel users
If it’s an Airtel SIM you have,
the code: *746# would suffice.
You instantly get
your check sim registration status.
For 9mobile users – Check Sim Registration Status
You’d have to dial and call a number
instead of a USSD code for a 9mobile SIM.
The number to dial is 746 or 200
(whichever one you choose),
and you get the registration status promptly.
For Glo users
You’d have to send
a text on a Glo SIM,
and the text is REG,
to be sent to 746 or 3456.
Your Registration status
gets sent back to you.
Conclusion on Check Sim Registration Status
As mundane as it seems,
the action of
checking your SIM registration status
could save you
from embarrassing moments.
Nobody would like to have their lines blocked simply
because
it wasn’t duly registered.
(Especially when they weren’t intentional about it).
Which is why you should
check your SIM’s registration status today –
from the looks of it,
it wouldn’t even
take much of your time at all.
